Hints The bean pot can be prepared well in advance, even the day before and also freezes well but leave adding the cheese until after reheating and just before serving.

Friday Tagliatelli with garlic mushroom and wine sauce, avocado salad.

Hints The sauce can be made or frozen in advance. Cover with cling and allow the cling to sit on the sauce to prevent a skin forming. It may require thinning with a little more milk on reheating.

Saturday Two peppers potato pie, cabbage with onions

Hints The whole pie can be made and frozen, remove from the freezer the night
before.

Sunday Brown lentil loaf, broccoli au gratin, roast potatoes and parsnip, onion and mushroom gravy.

Hints This traditional type of roast dinner is ideal for weekend when there is more time for preparation. However the loaf, broccoli and gravy all freeze beautifully to leave more time for leisure.
